Experience
I am an experienced Chinese tutor who would love to help you achieve your academic goals. I decided to be a tutor when my college began trying to remove my area of study, which is East Asian Studies, as well as Chinese. The amount of people who study in those areas is small, but I still believe language study is vital. Studying Chinese is my main passion in life. I am always encouraging my pupils to continue learning languages. It can be difficult to learn an entirely new language, however, it is very rewarding as well. I am proud of myself for how far I have come in learning Chinese and I enjoy seeing other people just as excited to learn it as I was. It is my goal to keep the language alive and encourage others to pursue learning it. I want to share all of my knowledge of the language with them, as well as the many effective methods of learning it. I have my Bachelor of Asian Studies from Ursinus College and I am looking forward to working with numerous new students. When I am not tutoring, I love to read, write, listen to music, and kayak.
